The intervention concerns the structural design and implementation of the line products related to the WORKS OF COMPLETION LINE 10 of the Suburban and Metro Lines. In particular, the line products concern the ventilation system, identified by the acronym SH16 and SH18, consisting of the underground electrical cabin, the well and the connecting chamber between the open surface and the line tunnel; The emergency exit and rescue access system, identified as UE/AS T SH17 and SH25, consisting of two vertical wells and two underground tunnels connecting the open surface to the two platforms on the sides of the line tunnel. Along the route of the line tunnel in the Afragola depot section, it is planned to build two ventilation chambers equipped with reversible type ventilation groups designed to ensure proper ventilation and suitable environmental conditions in the presence of the public of the entire system of tunnels and stations during operation, but also have the function of evacuating fumes in case of fire to ensure maximum safety for users in case of emergency.
These rooms are located at the progressive 10+823 and 11+660 of the line tunnel, and is of the underground type as placed in the tunnel (chamber) connecting between the line tunnel and the well connection with the outside. The well of rectangular plant, the project solution does not compromise any road using the pedestrian and green area of the square, in which the necessary construction will be carried out. The size of the identified area led to the choice of the type of special works in the subsoil of containment at the excavations. The type adopted makes it possible to carry out the works of the well and the cabin in a way independent from the underground works, and in advance of them; the construction of the well and the cabin will then proceed, and then to the connecting chamber with the line tunnel, with an undoubted advantage in terms of the total time taken to complete the works by being able to be completed simultaneously with the line tunnel that represents the critical route of the intervention.
